What we are looking for in our electrical lecturer:
* Qualified to L3 in Electrical Installation
* Recent and relevant experience in electrical work
* Relevant or transferable skills to teach effectively
* Experience of various electrical skills and enthusiasm to provide the best learning experience for students
Duties/responsibilities of the electrical lecturer:
* Teach and deliver in both workshop and classroom settings for Electrical Installation levels 1, 2 & 3, including apprenticeship provision
* Prepare learning materials in varied formats
* Promote learner welfare
Nescot was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the college as ‘Good’ in all 8 aspects. The report notes students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed,” benefiting from “highly supportive relationships” with staff.
