St Peter’s CE Primary School is looking to appoint Lunchtime Supervisors. Term time only – 7.5 hours per week NJC Grade 2 Starting Salary £25,193 pro rata Subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Closing Date – 16 th March 2026 St. Peter’s CE Primary School is a popular two form entry school on a split site in Birmingham. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, kind, caring and flexible Supervisors to join our hardworking established team. Position available will be in Key Stage 2 with children between the ages of 6 and 11 years. You will be responsible for their safety and welfare during lunchtime and to ensure that the children have a positive lunchtime experience. The ideal candidate for these positions will have: - passion for supporting children - can manage pupil behaviour effectively - good communication skills - enthusiasm, commitment, reliability and a willingness to learn and work - communicate clearly and effectively with pupils and colleagues - work using own initiative and as part of a team You will be expected to take a proactive role in supporting our children in their play and will be responsible for supervising the children in the dining hall, playground and classroom. Previous experience is not essential, but you will need to be reliable and have an interest in working with children. We are looking for someone who can communicate in a calm and positive manner with our children. All candidates will need to have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, forming positive relationships with adults and children. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check (where applicable) Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.
