An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Site Superintendent Radiographer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team and assist the Site Superintendent Radiographer in maintaining clinical and professional standards whilst providing comprehensive and effective day-to-day management of the radiology service.
Applicants should have a wide range of general radiographic experience gained over 5 years or more. Experience managing a team, and evidence of management training would be desirable, although not essential.
You will be actively involved in departmental audit activities, demonstrate a strong commitment to personal development, and must be able to provide evidence of supporting staff training and development. Our department actively promotes a positive culture of CPD.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
It is essential you have a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography / Imaging Sciences with current registration with the HCPC.
Hours
15 hours per week. The post is 15 hours per week, working hours are between 8am - 5pm, flexible days and hours to suit the needs of the role.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
Driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
Fixed Term/Secondment
Please note this job is a secondment until 31st January 2026.
