What you will do
As a Senior Engineer, you will: Lead the development and delivery of projects across: Traffic Engineering, Public Realm, Casualty Reduction, Active Travel, Traffic Signals
Collaborate with stakeholders, including: Members of the public, Local groups, Elected members, Contractors and partners
Provide professional advice to internal and external stakeholders
Support Local Highway Footway Improvement Groups
Mentor apprentices, helping to develop future talent
What we are looking for

Ability to mentor and support others
Experience
Proven experience in Highway and Traffic Engineering
Experience delivering Traffic Engineering or Integrated Transport schemes
Knowledge of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs)
Experience working with consultants and contractors
Technical expertise
Design software experience, such as: AutoCAD, KeyLines, KeySign
Understanding of NEC contracts and contract management (desirable)
Additional information
You may be required to attend meetings or site visits across Wiltshire.
Occasional out-of-hours working may be required depending on project needs
