Role - Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer
Location – Close to Weston-Super-Mare
Duration – 6mths (Potential to be extended)
Rate- Inside IR35 – uplifted rates.
Are you an experienced Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer looking for your next contract role?
This is your chance to play a key role in delivering a 60million plus highways project, including new bridges, bypass and culverts.
This is a chance to join a team from the ground up, you will be working alongside Site Agents, Section Engineers, Senior Engineers.
The Company
Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK, is offering an excellent opportunity.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your role will involve:
1. Complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required
2. Produce 2D&3D site sketches
3. Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with inspection&test plans
4. Liaising with clients, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
5. Leading problem-solving and risk management efforts on-site.
About You
6. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
7. Highways, infrastructure and structures experience
8. Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
9. Proven ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and project delivery.
10. Strong civil background RC&drainage essential
11. Setting out, QA, permits to dig, temporary works experience,
