We are seeking a resilient and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 14–16 within a specialist PRU setting.
This full-time role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to make a significant difference to young people who require additional support to re-engage with education.
You will be working with pupils who have:
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Trauma-related experiences
* Behavioural challenges and complex needs
* Backgrounds of exclusion from mainstream education

Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils in lessons and structured activities
* Build positive, consistent relationships with students
* Assist with behaviour management using restorative approaches
* Encourage engagement, confidence and independence
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams

* Experience supporting young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
* Calm, patient and resilient approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to de-escalate situations effectively
* Passion for supporting vulnerable young people
