CBC Health Federation is seeking proactive and dedicated Specialist Clinical Pharmacists to join our dynamic Pharmicus team. Experience
* Specialist knowledge acquired through clinical diploma or equivalent experience
* In-depth knowledge of therapeutics, especially medicines used in primary care
* Has awareness of the common acute and long-term conditions that are likely to be seen in general practice
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* IT Literate
* Evidence of an ability to build successful working relationships with a range of professionals and administrative staff
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make judgements
* Time management
* Professional and discreet
* Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing demands
* Experience of training and supporting less experienced staff
* High degree of concentration with potential for frequent interruption
* Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role
* Experience of working in primary care
* Experience of GP clinical systems
* CPPE Pathway
* Independent Prescriber or working towards this qualification
* Supervisory or line management experience
* Experience of delivering clinical services e.g. medication reviews, dealing with prescription requests, clinics
* Understanding of primary care working and NHS organisational structures
* Experience of clinical audit
Qualifications
* Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified Pharmacist
