Role Overview:
The UK/IR & Export Indirect Sales Manager is responsible for implementing growth strategies by managing and developing a network of Prime/Key partners in the UK, Ireland, Africa, and potentially the Middle East, focusing on indirect sales channels.
This role requires understanding of sales dynamics, partner management skills, and the ability to drive performance across diverse markets. Work can be hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement an indirect sales strategy based on the Pareto 80/20 principle to maximize revenue in UK/IR and international markets.
2. Align the sales strategy with company objectives, ensuring measurable results tailored to specific markets.
3. Create a Business Plan to articulate the indirect sales strategy for growth.
4. Drive sales results by working with channel partners and internal teams to meet targets.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key sales channels in all markets.
6. Identify and onboard new channel partners to enhance coverage and performance.
7. Unify Watlow channel partners to align with portfolio and strategic goals.
8. Focus on top-tier clients to drive revenue, optimizing resources for others via distributors and e-commerce.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction through partner training and support.
10. Increase distributor sales and technical self-sufficiency to reduce dependency on internal resources.
11. Set KPIs and performance metrics, tracking progress regularly.
12. Provide performance updates and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications And Attributes:
* Experience in indirect sales leadership, with UK/IR and international exposure.
* Proven ability to manage and develop sales channels in various markets.
* Strategic thinking and growth implementation skills.
* Expertise in channel management and adapting to local markets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving skills for operational challenges.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of sales drivers.
* Fluent in English; second language is a plus.
* Willingness to travel within the UK/IR and internationally.
