The Company Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles. The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, Kidderminster where we now have a requirement for a permanent Production Engineers within the Operations Team. To support business growth the production engineering team at Roxel seeks talented and enthusiastic engineers to support current and future manufacturing capabilities.

The production engineer is part of the Operation department structure and is pivotal in solving manufacturing issues, improving processes and methods with manufacturing teams, driving change and continuous improvement to improve shop floor safety, quality, productivity, and new product introduction.
o To provide & the develop suitable methods, processes, and instructions for the manufacture of products to meet requirements of safety, quality & productivity
o Deliver capital projects from concept to introduction
o Addressing any bottlenecks or issues with production
o Providing technical support, guidance, and training to others.
o Ensure safety requirements are understood and legal requirements are met
o Define and monitor KPI performance.
o Working alongside the Quality team to verify effectiveness of quality control systems
o An HNC or HND qualification or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent demonstrated practical experience
o Previous proven experience in a production manufacturing environment
o Previous experience within a production environment in a Manufacturing Engineering role
o Previous experience in lean manufacturing tools and techniques, including, but not limited to; o Experience in Manufacturing Engineering in an ISO 9001 environment
o Experience in project delivery and problem solving
o IT Literate with experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook
o Experience utilising quality tools and Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques including, but not limited to;
