The Role
We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in Cambridge. In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, create outstanding menus, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations
* Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff
* Plan and prepare high-quality menus featuring innovative seasonal dishes
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards
* Manage stock, monitor budgets, and control costs effectively
* Support with event catering and bespoke client requirements
About You
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume environment
* A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional standards
* Strong leadership and organizational skills
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
* Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards
