Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join friendly and supportive primary schools across the Cambridge area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in pupils aged 5–7. Beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and teach inspiring lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups, including pupils with SEND or EAL.
* Track, assess and report on pupil progress, setting clear targets for improvement.
* Foster a safe, stimulating classroom environment that supports personal and academic growth.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to promote pupil wellbeing and achievement.
* Contribute to whole-school activities, trips and events.
Ideal KS1 Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or recognised equivalent.
* Experience teaching KS1 is desirable, but motivated ECTs are welcome.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a KS1 Teacher.
* Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
