Travis Perkins is the UK's largest builders' merchant, and we're offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hire Manager, Assistant Hire Manager, or Supervisor to manage our HIRE team at our Weston-Super-Mare branch. As the Hire Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the hire operations and team. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and executing a sales action plan You will also be assisting serving on the counter and helping out around the branch Establishing strong customer relationships, and maintaining optimal equipment utilisation to meet customer demands You'll also be responsible for directing and coaching the team to achieve sales and revenue targets, ensuring that your team is well-trained, motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service Does This Sound Like You? Travis Perkins is looking for individuals with: Hire industry experience Management skills are preferred, however not essential Sales background Work well in a team environment Where will you be working? Travis Perkins operates more than 500 branches, supplying trade professionals and self-builders with thousands of products and materials, including a hire service. Our Weston-Super-Mare branch employs 8 staff members and runs 1 HGV and 1 Hire Van, offering a wide range of quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials, and tools for the job.
