We are working with aclient based in Bury in manufacturing. They are looking for a self-driven Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As the Assistant Accountant you will report to the Financial Accountant and support the finance team with;
1. Assisting in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records.
2. Assisting with controls around supplier management, validating changes to masterfile records.
3. Assisting with effective management ofpany credit cards.
4. Processing journals and interfaces from other systems.
5. Assisting with the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory returns, internal and external audits.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have:
6. Have a good understanding of balance sheet reporting, financial controls, financial systems, processes and procedures.
7. Have some experience of performing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with audits.
8. Be an excellentmunicator with excellent IT skills, knowledge of Excel and a high degree of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Be able to prioritise tasks and manage conflicting demands.
10. Have a strong customer focus with a high service standard.
