Our engineering client is looking for an experience MIG welder to work in their Littlehampton manufacturing facility. Although the position is initially temporary, there is the prospect of the role becoming permanent. You will be MIG (GMAW) welding a combination of high tensile, cold-formed alloy and mild steels for the manufacture of T-bars/steps for the commercial vehicle sector. These items are retro fitted. Whilst a coding is not required, it is important that you are experienced with MIG welding sheet and sectional material from 2 to12mm. It is also important that you can work from engineering drawings and within a team environment. The working hours are are 40 per week, 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, with15 mins morning break, lunch from 1pm to 1.30pm and an afternoon break from 3pm to 3.15pm. Some overtime is often available Mon to Fri and very occasionally on a Saturday, paid at time and a half
