About the role: You will be joining a small team tasked with delivering corporate volunteering days across London, this post having specific responsibility for delivery at our south London sites. The role requires you to lead safe, productive and enjoyable practical days for our corporate partners as well as manage you own project administration. You will build and maintain a wide range of external partnerships, chiefly with local authority land managers or Friends group members and work closely with TCV colleagues based in London and at our Head Office. The sites in your area are enormously varied, ranging from wide open green and blue spaces on the edge of the capital all the way to pocket parks in more urbanised areas; and we are actively trying to develop new partnerships all the time. Projects too may range from classic habitat conservation and enhancement to small carpentry or food-growing in schools or heavily urbanised housing estates. The role is based in Croydon with the option of home working on admin days, and you will have responsibility for managing your own TCV van. As well as your own portfolio of sites and projects, there will be opportunities to support TCV colleagues in running corporate delivery days elsewhere in London. A full clean or near-clean driving licence is required as the post holder has use of a company vehicle. This licence must have been held for at least twelve months prior to starting in the role. This post is subject to a basic DBS check. We are The Conservation Volunteers. Our vision is Healthier, Happier Communities for Everyone.
