Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Installation & Service Technician to join their growing team. Job type: Full-time, permanent Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Hastings Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break) Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus UK statutory Bank Holidays, increasing with service Key Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, installation, fault-finding, and rectification across a range of technical systems in line with industry and company standards. Complete comprehensive reports following all site visits. Participate in standby duties as part of a structured team rota. Work across both domestic and commercial sites, adapting to varying client requirements. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines as set out in the Employee Handbook, particularly those relating to Health and Safety. Undertake all training and development required to perform the role effectively. Successfully complete the 6-month probationary period and participate in annual performance appraisals. Carry out any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role, as requested by senior staff. Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a technical installation and service environment. Experience working in industrial, commercial, and domestic settings on systems of varying sizes. Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and rectify faults efficiently. Experience servicing systems to recognised industry standards. Familiarity with a range of manufacturers’ equipment and multi-system environments. Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to correspond clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and external organisations. Basic IT skills, including MS Word and MS Outlook. Full UK driving licence.
