Role: Mar-Tech Manager - Brighton & Hove
Location: Brighton & Hove (minimum 3 days a week in the office with flexible working hours). Salary: Up to £50k DOE.

Role Summary
We are seeking a technically skilled and hands-on individual to take full ownership of the Martech stack, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights. You will collaborate closely with the Marcomms team to design and implement technically driven marketing journeys that support strategic outreach goals, enhance audience engagement, and drive measurable impact. The role will evolve marketing automation capabilities from foundational configuration to advanced omni-channel orchestration, bridging the gap between email marketing aspirations and the technical configuration of the marketing automation tool.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the configuration and implementation of new features within Customer Insights, and be hands-on in the development of targeted marketing journeys ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Collaborate with the Marcomms team to understand marketing requirements, draft technical specifications, and develop and maintain effective solutions within Customer Insights.
* Data Integration & Insights:
* Enable the use of data by connecting external data sources and matching these to campaigns to facilitate advanced segmentation, personalisation, and campaign performance tracking.
* Feature Adoption & Road mapping:
* Stay abreast of new feature releases within Dynamics and related Martech tools. Develop and maintain a roadmap to evaluate, pilot, and embed new capabilities into business operations.
* AI Minded:
* Keep updated with latest AI features that can be used to our advantage.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate with marketing, data, and product teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate progress and outcomes effectively.
* Performance Metrics:
* Deliver and track advanced KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and platform ROI.
* Documentation & Enablement:
* Create and maintain clear documentation for configurations, workflows, and best practices. Support training and onboarding for internal users.
* Future requirements:
* Work with marketing and wider business leaders to scope and validate future technology and data requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
* Proven hands-on experience with the configuration and management of marketing automation tools (Microsoft Customer Insights would be a bonus).
* Understanding of connecting data sources to achieve marketing outcomes (e.g., using two data sources within the same journey for personalised touchpoints).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Organised and methodical— translating business needs into technical delivery.
* Experience building roadmaps and managing platform evolution.
* Familiarity with omni-channel marketing strategies and customer journey mapping.
