Peacock Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 30 hours per week. Our surgery works over 2 sites, Stansted and Elsenham but this role will predominantly be based at our Elsenham branch.
Our nursing team consists of 4 practice nurses, 2 nursing associates, 2 healthcare assistants and 3 phlebotomists.
The main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
* Chronic disease management
* Childhood and adult immunisations
* Cervical cytology
* Wound care (e.g. leg ulcers and compression)
* Health promotion and patient education
* Treatment room duties
* Support with QOF and clinical audits
About the Candidate
All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
* A qualified and registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
* Experience in primary care
* Confident working autonomously while contributing to a wider team
* Organised, approachable and patient-focused
* Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and professional development
