Overview
We are seeking someone to come in and deep clean our kitchen with certain pre determined tasks and perform them to a high standard on a weekly basis.
Shifts would be from 10am until 2pm Monday and Tuesday only.
Duties
* Canopy and filter cleans.
* Deep cleaning behind fridges and work places.
* Deep cleaning walls and deep corners of the kitchen.
* Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
* Support the culinary team by helping with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly to ensure longevity and efficiency.
* Assist with stock control by receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.
* Help with any additional tasks as required by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
* A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is beneficial for this role.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment are essential.
* A passion for hospitality and a willingness to develop culinary skills will be highly regarded.
