St Marys Surgery in Ely took over the contract to provide General Practice Services at Priors Field Surgery,Sutton from 1st April. We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team andhelp deliver high-quality care in Sutton.
Main duties of the job
As a Practice Nurse, you will play an essential role in the delivery of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting general nursing duties such as immunizations, wound care, and health assessments.
* Chronic disease management e.g. diabetes, hypertension, asthma.
* Cervical screening, and vaccinations.
* Supporting the clinical team with minor illness assessments.
* Health promotion and patient education.
* Maintaining accurate patient records in line with practice protocols.
Based primarily in Sutton, with occasional clinics and meetings in Ely.

Person Specification
Experience
* The ideal candidate will have:
* A valid Nursing qualification and registration with the NMC.
* Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting is desirable, but not essential.
* A passion for patient care and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A caring and compassionate approach to healthcare.
