Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you may work fewer hours (minimum 12). The availability windows show the periods during the week we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these windows and provide you with three weeks’ notice of shift timing. We support flexibility; if your available times closely match but are not exact, we’ll still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
* Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner, providing great service that encourages repeat visits.
* Providing appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understanding customers’ needs, explaining benefits of products in a way they understand, and only selling products that are right for them.
* Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
* Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and dispensing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Addressing clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within your competence.
* Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter.
* Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives to life within the team.
* Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
