Who You Are A Special Projects Lawyer with experience in local government prosecutions and criminal litigation. You preferably have 2 years of post-qualification experience and possess expertise in dealing with licensing matters, including the Licensing Act 2003. You have recent experience sitting as a legal adviser to sub-committees and a proven ability to deliver high-quality legal support in a cost-effective manner. What the Job Involves Your role is to support the Senior Prosecutions Lawyer in providing the Council with a high-quality Prosecutions Service. You will offer legal advice and support in areas such as criminal law and local government law, prepare legal documents, represent the Council in various legal forums, and manage legal technology systems. The position also involves keeping abreast of legislative changes, liaising with various stakeholders, contributing to cross-organizational projects, and supervising trainees and staff when necessary.
