Position Details
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
* Salary: Pro Rata for part-time hours
* Location: Based at RAH in Paisley, covering Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, VOL, and Argyll & Bute. Travel and overnight stays may be required.
* Hours: 29.7 hours per week
Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join the Orthoptic Clyde team as a Band 7 Highly Specialist Orthoptist on a permanent basis. The role involves providing highly specialist orthoptic assessments and treatments independently, managing a specialist caseload, and acting as a resource for orthoptic staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with stroke patients, motility patients, general paediatric patients, and students.
* Assist the Head Orthoptist with management, professional leadership, and governance of the Orthoptic service, including operational management and clinical delivery in both acute and community settings.
