Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with a passion for helping children thrive? Protocol Education is seeking caring and supportive LSAs to join our trusted team, working in primary schools across Barnsley and surrounding areas.
Whether you’re supporting children with SEND, delivering one-to-one interventions, or assisting small groups, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in young lives.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience: Prior work as a Teaching Assistant or LSA, supporting children with SEND or offering general classroom support.
* Skills and attributes:
o A patient, understanding approach.
o The ability to work well as part of a team.
o Passion and interest in working with children with SEND.
* Availability: Able to start as soon as possible and work at least 3 days per week.
Your role will include:
* Providing one-to-one support to help pupils achieve their goals.
* Assisting with engaging activities designed to enhance learning.
* Supporting pupils in working toward therapy and educational targets.
* Collaborating with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
