Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an SME based in Banbury to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including study support if that is required!
This role has opened up due to an internal promotion, displaying that career development will be available within this organisation.
Primary responsibilities -
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Post journals for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
3. Support the preparation of monthly cashflow forecasts.
4. Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations.
5. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
6. Carry out intercompany reconciliations and investigate variances.
7. Assist in preparing reports and analysis to support business decisions.
8. Help with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
9. Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
Key experience and attributes -
10. Experience in a similar finance or assistant accountant role.
11. Solid understanding of accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
12. Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
13. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
14. Confident communicator, able to work with colleagues across the business.
15. Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
