Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant, individuals will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of pupils.
Responsibilities
* Providing tailored support to pupils within the classroom setting.
* Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and preparation.
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and behavioural development.
* Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Candidate Requirements
* GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
* A minimum of six months\' experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
* A genuine desire to work with and support young people with SEMH.
* A willingness to pursue further qualifications and engage in continuous professional development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
