Legal Administrator Conveyancing | Taunton

Are you a skilled administrator looking to build a career within the legal sector? A well-established and respected legal practice is seeking a proactive Legal Administrator to support its busy Conveyancing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing essential support to conveyancers while helping to ensure a seamless experience for clients throughout the property transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries, delivering a professional and high standard of customer service.
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new matters, including preparing confirmation of instruction documentation and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Conveyancing team while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory procedures.
  • Supporting due diligence processes and assisting with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance checks.
  • Handling routine telephone enquiries from clients and third parties, ensuring information is recorded accurately and efficiently.

About You

  • Previous experience within an administrative role is essential; experience within legal, conveyancing, or property sectors would be advantageous but is not required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy environment.
  • Confident IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills.
  • Available to work full-time from the Taunton office.
