The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to lead our product purchasing function and drive value across our retail supply chain operations. This is a senior leadership role that will be instrumental in shaping our procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal cost management while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and availability.
As Head of Procurement, you will oversee all aspects of retail purchasing activities, from tools and equipment to consumables and accessories, ensuring our stores are well-stocked with the right products at competitive prices to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day retail procurement operations and ensure efficient stock management
* Lead product range planning and seasonal buying programmes
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key tool and equipment manufacturers and distributors
* Identify and develop new supplier relationships to enhance product range and competitive advantage
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven track record in retail procurement, preferably in tools, equipment, or trade supplies
* Experience in the retail tools, construction supplies, or DIY sectors advantageous
