Website, Communications and Marketing Coordinator

This role will offer support to theAlliance, coordinating tasks across its Website, Communications and Marketingactivities. The role also encompasses research and to provide support to otherEast Lancashire Alliance departments as and when required to the needs of thebusiness.

The post holder will be an organised andhighly motivated individual, expected to work under the direction of theOperational Support Officer / Operations Manager.


Main duties of the job

Weare seeking a proactive and creative Website, Communications and MarketingCoordinator to coordinate and enhance our digital presence, internal andexternal communications along with marketing initiatives.

Thisrole is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, digital strategy,and brand development, across the following functions.


About us

EastLancashire Alliance (ELA) is a not-for-profit community interest companyproviding services to our GP practice members and offering a portfolio ofpatient services. All our clinical services are led by clinical leads who workas part of a team with Federation managers.

Weare a network of nine PCNs which consist of 48 GP practices covering apopulation of over 390,000 patients across East Lancashire. Patients are at theheart of everything we do, and we pride ourselves in ensuring our patients feelsafe, supported, communicated with and respected, at a time when they may befeeling vulnerable. The Alliance are proud to represent our member practicesand to champion our Primary Care Partners, by working with local generalpractice and other system partners in the provision of patient centred localhealthcare services.

Eachpractice has a close-knit team of staff who collectively seek to improve thehealth of their patient populations.


Job responsibilities

* WebsiteManagement
* -Create content for, update and maintain the organisations website and itsstructure.
* -Ensurethe website is user-friendly, accessible, and developed for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
* -Liaisewith developers &/or IT support for technical updates and troubleshooting
* Communications
* -Create,develop and distribute internal and external communications includingnewsletters, press releases, and stakeholder updates.
* -Supportcrisis communications and reputation management.
* -Assistthe organisation by monitoring and helping to respond to public and mediainquiries.
* Marketing
* -Planand execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
* -Createengaging content for social media, email marketing, and print.
* -Analysecampaign performance and report on KPIs.
* -Ensurebrand consistency across all platforms and materials.
* -Coordinatedesign and production of promotional materials
* Training & Development
* -Fully participate in training and development, meeting any, and all,requirements of any courses funded, or part-funded by the Alliance.
* -Engagein a programme of ongoing support and feedback to maximise the benefit of thetraining and development plan.

Person Specification


Experience

* Experience managing websites (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
* Knowledge of digital marketing, survey tools and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey).
* Experience in the public sector, healthcare, or non-profit environments.
* Understanding of accessibility standards and GDPR compliance

* UK work permit (if required)
* DBS check (as appropriate to the role)

Skills and Abilities

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).


Qualifications

* GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths
