Salary: MPS/UPS: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

GSL Education are looking to hire qualified and experienced Linguists to work as Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages at client school in Scarborough, North Yorkshire starting in September 2024.

Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages Responsibilities:
* Teachers of languages are responsible for planning and preparing engaging and effective lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
* Teachers focus on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the target language.
* Teachers regularly assess students' language proficiency to monitor their progress and provide feedback.
* Teachers identify students' strengths and weaknesses in language learning and offer personalized support to help them improve.
* Teachers foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in the target language.
Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Specialist subject as French or German to GCSE; A-Level experience is desirable, but not essential.
* Previous teaching experience in the last 2 years (placements can be counted for ECTs or NQTs).
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.
* Mark and assess work, providing in-depth detail for pupils to be able to progress.
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment within the classroom
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
