Senior Associate / Partner – Private Client
Manchester | Hybrid Working | 5+ PQE | Market-Leading Package + Bonus
An award-winning national firm is continuing to invest in its Manchester office and is now seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (Senior Associate / Partner) to play a key role in the next phase of growth.
This is more than a traditional fee-earning role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop client relationships, and help shape a growing team while working on complex, high-value matters.
Strong client base of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
You will join a highly regarded private client team advising a prestigious client base of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, trustees and business owners.
The work is both varied and technically challenging, with a strong focus on wealth preservation, succession planning and complex structuring.

* Succession planning and complex inheritance tax mitigation
* Estate planning and wealth protection strategies
* Trust creation, restructuring and ongoing administration
* Capital gains tax planning
* Philanthropy and charity advisory work
* Cross-border and international estate planning
* Optional involvement in contentious probate matters
Your opportunity to help shape and drive the team
At this level, you will also play a broader role in the success of the practice:
* Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers
* Building and strengthening key client relationships
* Driving business development initiatives
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the Manchester private client offering
What you will bring
* 5+ years’ PQE in private client law
* Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts, IHT and CGT
* Experience advising HNW and UHNW clients
* STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred
* Commercially minded, proactive and keen to contribute beyond fee-earning
