Main duties of the job Our Paediatric Diabetes Service is looking for a motivated, organised, and forward thinking administrator/data manager to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Detailed job description and main responsibilities The ideal candidate will liaise, communicate and work closely in conjunction with the other paediatric diabetes services, networks and referral centres within the region and the UK. We are looking for an individual to work with the clinical team in providing statistical analysis, report generation and any relevant information required to the different support networks both local and nationally. You will establish, maintain and coordinate the specialist paediatric diabetes database, required to support the varying service needs. You will provide a comprehensive administration service to the children's diabetes team. Experience & Skills The ideal candidate must be confident and experienced in the use of IT software to include demonstrable, advanced use of Microsoft Excel and databases. We will be looking for you to demonstrate experience of data work, and managing and manipulating large volumes of data for national reporting and auditing. You will have proven, strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. We will be looking for you to showcase excellent administration skills, ideally gained in a healthcare setting.
