Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a variety of clients across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
We have work available immediately, with flexible ad hoc shifts on offer and the potential to move into regular, ongoing work for reliable drivers.

🕒 Working Patterns
1. Flexible shifts based on client requirements
2. Work available across Edinburgh and surrounding areas
3. Weekday and weekend shifts offered
4. Typical start times: 7:00am or 11:00am
5. Additional shifts available during peak periods and holiday cover
💰 Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
6. £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
7. £16.25 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Overtime – After 8 Hours
8. £19.32 per hour (PAYE)
9. £21.66 per hour (PAYE Advanced)

10. Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per shift
11. Weekly pay
12. Overtime opportunities available
13. Holiday pay accrued (unless PAYE Advanced is selected)
🚚 The Role
14. Completing multi-drop deliveries in a Class 2 vehicle
15. Working with a driver’s mate to assist with loading and unloading
16. Handling goods safely, including some heavy items
17. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork
18. Providing a professional and friendly customer service at all times
✅ Requirements
19. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
20. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
21. Maximum 9 penalty points
(No DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
22. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
23. Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience
24. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
