Our Deputy Retail Managers play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, maintaining high operational standards, and smashing commercial targets.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing store operations to maximise profitable sales and growth.
* Creating a great place to work for everyone and supporting your team's development within Dobbies.
* Inspiring your team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience, ensuring a brilliant customer journey.
* Collaborating with central support teams to maintain excellent communication and improve our business.
* Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed, caring for employee and customer welfare.
* Leading audit controls, maintaining company best practices, and coaching the team on governance.
* Managing stock processes from goods in to visual merchandising.
* Acting as deputy to the General Manager in their absence.
* Taking on duty manager responsibilities, including key holder duties as part of the senior management team.
Who We Are Looking For
* Experience in retail operations management and operational expertise.
* Commercial awareness, understanding budgets, profitability, and driving sales.
* Proven ability to manage stock controls and adhere to health & safety regulations.
* Ability to identify training needs and coach teams to deliver excellent customer service and a safe environment.
* Adaptability to changing priorities and regulations.
* Positive leadership through change, motivating the team each season.
