Whats the role?
As a Support Worker at East Kent Mencap, youll provide person-centred care and support to individuals with a learning disability. Your work will vary day-to-day, but your impact will always be meaningful. Whether helping someone develop life skills, supporting them, or simply being a friendly face, youll be making a real difference.
You might have just finished your Health and Social Care training. You may be an experienced Support Worker, or perhaps you are willing to learn and share your experiences.
This role requires you to be working at a Level 2 in Health and Social Care. If you do not have this qualification, we can develop you through an apprenticeship. We just need your desire to sign up.
Youll be providing support to vulnerable people with a learning disability.
This role will give you the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.
