Description
Prepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies promptly.
Support the accounts payable and receivable functions as required.
Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance department.Profile
A successful Junior Financial Accountant should have:
Ideally studying towards an accountancy qualification. (ACCA/CIMA)
Experience with financial systems and software, such as accounting packages or ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.Job Offer
