Early Years Lead – Lilliput's Day Nursery Location: Westhoughton Hours: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £13.60 per hour

Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced, Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team.

As our Early Years Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping our nurturing, high-quality learning environment. You'll lead by example, support the team, and help us maintain the warm, supportive culture we're known for.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and support delivery of the EYFS framework across the setting

· Model outstanding early years care and education practice

· Mentor and guide team members, including apprentices and key workers

· Monitor and support children's progress through observations and assessments

· Build strong, trusting partnerships with parents and carers

· Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies

About You:

· Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (EYP, EYT, degree, or equivalent) is essential.

· Minimum of years' experience in an early years setting

· Strong understanding of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding procedures

· Previous leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a leadership role

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Warm, enthusiastic, and proactive – a true team player

· Ability to manage teams across all age groups and implement the curriculum effectively
