Compliance Officer Leading Regional Law Firm Berkshire Up to £45k We’re currently working with a fabulous leading regional law firm with offices across Buckinghamshire, and london looking for for a Compliance Officer to join a well-established compliance function. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid compliance experience who enjoys being hands-on and working across a broad range of regulatory matters. You’ll be joining a structured Risk & Compliance function and will play a key role in supporting the firm’s ongoing regulatory and risk management obligations. The role? Client onboarding and ongoing due diligence Reviewing AML documentation and supporting SAR reporting to the MLRO Source of Funds / Source of Wealth investigations Admin support for Credas / EIDV systems, including user access and queries Monitoring PEPs and sanctions alerts Managing and responding to complaints, including Legal Ombudsman matters Advising on GDPR and data protection issues Supporting regulatory audits and accreditations, including corrective actions Updating and maintaining policies and procedures Managing the Risk inbox (AML, conflicts, complaints, claims, data breaches, queries) Coaching colleagues through compliance processes Researching regulatory updates from the SRA / Law Society Maintaining sanctions lists and monitoring undertakings Supporting price transparency reviews Assisting with CQS accreditation and compliance training General risk and compliance administration About you? 2–5 years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment Strong understanding of AML and regulatory requirements Confident communicator with a practical, can-do approach Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders Highly organised with strong attention to detail What's in it for you?
