Assembly Technician
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000 £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day shift | Immediate start available
We are on a lookout for a Assembly Technician to join our client's team in Mildenhall. You will be part of delivering advanced manufacturing systems across industries including automotive, medical and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components to the highest standards
* Assemble and wire control panels, systems, and sub-assemblies using schematics and technical drawings
* Crimp and terminate cables using hand tools and semi-automated equipment
* Carry out PCB assembly and repair, including fine-pitch and surface mount devices (SMT)
* Work to tight tolerances in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment
* Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a soldering or electronics assembly role is is essential
* Strong understanding of wiring, crimping, and cable assembly is essential
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
