Health and Safety Trainer
Location: Covering our care home & retirement villages in the North
Permanent: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £34,000

Role Overview
To deliver effective health & safety training across our Bupa Care Homes and Retirement Villages, as directed, to support them to maintain mandatory training compliance.
What you’ll do:
1. Deliver the health & safety training requirements for staff within the home/Portfolio Village against required performance standards. This will include, but is not limited to:A suite of Fire Safety trainingPeople Moving and Handling trainingFirst Aid and Basic Life Support training
2. Deliver training and facilitate learning using a range of training methods to motivate and meet the needs of different learning styles.
3. Maintaining effective administration within the learning management system (Grow) for all end-to-end processes
4. Actively participate in project work
5. Work with homes and villages to identify and upskill colleagues
What you’ll bring:
6. Effective communication and appropriately in written, oral and non-verbal form, structuring and presenting information clearly and effectively
7. Full UK driving licence as national travel is required.
8. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
9. Previous learning facilitation experience or healthcare experience
10. Customer focused, self-motivated and able to identify and engage with key stake holders.
