We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitised.
Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
