Salaried GP opportunities with a supported pathway to Partnership Queens Road Medical Practice, Guernsey Queens Road Medical Practice is looking for salaried GPs to join our growing practice in Guernsey, with a supported pathway to Partnership for those who may wish to pursue it. This is an opportunity to enjoy a different kind of general practice — one built on continuity of care, meaningful patient relationships, manageable workloads, and genuine clinical autonomy. We care for around 23,000 patients across two distinctive surgery sites: a beautifully restored former school building in St Peter Port, and a welcoming rural practice in St Pierre du Bois. We are a friendly, forward-looking multidisciplinary team of Partner and Associate GPs, ANPs, physiotherapists, nurses, HCAs, a paediatrician, administrative colleagues and dedicated personal assistant support for our GPs. Together, we combine traditional family medicine with innovation, prevention, and service development, while keeping patient care and continuity at the heart of what we do. We are proud to offer an environment where clinicians can build rewarding, sustainable and fulfilling careers. We believe in thoughtful medicine, strong teamwork and giving our GPs the time and support they need to do our best work. Recent developments have included pioneering genomic screening for familial hypercholesterolaemia in primary care and expanding specialist services within the practice, including a consultant-led clinic in colorectal surgery. Our GPs benefit from:
Lower list sizes Dedicated PA support No routine out-of-hours commitments Six weeks’ annual leave plus one week’s study leave Private health insurance GMC subscription and indemnity cover Opportunities to develop specialist interests Dedicated mentorship and supportive colleagues A supported pathway to Partnership Opportunities to help shape and develop services through committee involvement Guernsey offers an exceptional quality of life, with short commute times, excellent schools, beautiful coastal surroundings and a strong sense of community, alongside easy access to the UK and France. It is a place where you can enjoy a fulfilling professional life alongside a more balanced pace of living. We would love to hear from fully qualified GPs with GMC registration who are excited by the prospect of practising relationship-based medicine in a supportive, ambitious and welcoming practice. This is general practice as it was meant to be.
