Overview
Our client is a national developer/contractor undertaking major new build residential, mixed-use and student accommodation schemes across the country. The need now exists for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based on a project in Clapham, South West London. The development consists of 550 units, mid to high rise RC Frame build, total value £120m. You will have a quantity surveyor reporting into you with the position reporting into Head of Commercial. Our client is seeking applicants who have experience on commercially leading mid to high rise RC Frame developments in excess of £100m. In return, our client is offering £90k - £95k (basic) + full package and bonus system on top.
Responsibilities
* Provide commercial leadership on a mid to high rise RC Frame development valued in excess of £100m.
* Lead a quantity surveying team reporting to the Senior QS, with oversight from the Head of Commercial.
* Manage commercial performance on the project located in Clapham, South West London (550 units, RC Frame, £120m total value).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure prudent cost control, risk management, and value optimisation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience commercially leading mid to high rise RC Frame developments with a value greater than £100m.
* Previous line management or supervisory responsibility of a quantity surveying resource.
* Ability to operate on a project in Clapham, South West London and coordinate with Head of Commercial and project team.
Compensation
Salary: £90k - £95k (basic) + full package and bonus system on top.
