DV Cleared Cyber Security Engineer
Location: South Coast (Hybrid)
Contract: 6-12 Months
We are supporting a Defence client seeking a DV Cleared Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen cyber capability across high-security systems.
This role is critical in protecting sensitive systems and data within a complex and evolving threat landscape.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across infrastructure and applications, ensuring compliance and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and manage security controls across systems and networks
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
* Support security architecture and design decisions
* Monitor and respond to security incidents
* Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks
* Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams
Key Requirements
* Active DV Clearance (essential)
* Strong experience in cyber security engineering
* Experience in SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security tools
* Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001)
* Experience securing cloud and on-prem environments
* Strong understanding of network security principles
Desirable
* Experience in Defence or National Security
* Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
* Certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM or similar)
