Formal apprenticeship, Knowledge of British wiring standards, Control systems, electrical installations and electrical distribution They will examine structures and equipment within buildings or plant and report defects, carry out legislative checks and record keep. Following all risk assessments and procedures, you will supervise attendees for scheduled servicing of equipment and breakdowns. You will also maintain electrical equipment, assemble electrical systems, deal with production breakdowns, deal with plant modifications and instrumentation calibrations and use logical problem-solving techniques to find the route cause and rectify. You will work with equipment such as a pedestal drill machine, grinders, welding equipment and portable powered hand tools and assist with the repair of all mechanical equipment across the products business when required.
