Connecting people, ideas, and research for lasting impact. We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator who is passionate about bringing communities and researchers together and who sees the value of community partnerships in creating spaces where collaboration can thrive.
The role involves leading projects from planning to delivery, organizing inclusive events and workshops, and embedding equity, diversity and inclusion into all activities. You will work closely with researchers and community partners to create opportunities for knowledge exchange with real-world impact.
You will manage multiple priorities, build relationships, and support research collaborations. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to working in new ways are essential. Experience working with diverse communities and good proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are required.

Working pattern
This is a part-time role offered at 60% FTE.
The team operates in a hybrid way with office days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The role holder will be expected to work in the office on at least one of these days. Some weekend and evening work will be required for community events and during the Cambridge Festival.
Team and location
The Community Engagement Coordinator will work directly with the Community Engagement Manager who leads the strategic approach to Community Engagement. The role is based within the Engagement Knowledge Exchange and Impact team and collaborates with colleagues to ensure engagement is rooted in sharing knowledge, sparking dialogue, and building meaningful connections beyond academia.
