About the Role
Practitioners at Lojic are committed to improving the quality of life of the people we support, and to improving their own practice quality by continuously collaborating with team members, and engaging in quality supervision.
Here are some of the key day-to-day duties:
* Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to understand the individual’s strengths, challenges, and triggers for challenging behaviours.
* Developing Behaviour Support Plans: Collaborate with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to create person-centred Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
* Skill Development: Work on building essential life skills, communication abilities, and social interactions for individuals.
* Training and Education: Provide training and education to families, caregivers, and support networks to ensure consistent implementation of the PBS plan

Required Qualifications & Experience
* Holds a relevant qualification (or post-grad qualification) in allied health or applied behaviour analysis
* Holds an NDIS worker clearance and Blue Card
* Has been endorsed and deemed suitable as a 'Core' or above Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
* A minimum of 1 year experience working with NDIS participants including experience working with adult populations, and those with mental health challenges
* Understanding of relevant NDIS legislation and how to apply this to the role, in particular how this applies to regulated restrictive practicesacross multiple jurisdictions
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
* Be certified as a BCBA (Or CBA)
* Direct experience in an implementation environment (i.e. Support Worker / RBT)
