We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced M&E Supervisor - Electrical Bias to join our team providing maintenance at the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Services HQ in Bootle and covering several locations across Merseyside for our client, which is managed from our Bootle Helpdesk.
The role:
1. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager
2. To support both the trade team and sub-contractors, to ensure all work is carried out to contract specification and client satisfaction
3. To allocate reactive/PPM tasks and ensure work is completed in line with the performance monitoring system
4. To assist with the planning and organising of work for both direct and contract labour to ensure cost and time targets are met
5. To assist in ordering materials and services, maintain records, control stock etc.
6. To assist with estimates, site measurements and cost control information
7. To identify chargeable works and ensure these are recorded appropriately
8. To monitor staff performance and sickness absence, and deal with any disciplinary matters
9. To carry out AP/RP duties
10. Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
11. Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
12. Must have proven track record of maintenance/hard services within Facilities Management with prior supervisory experience
13. Strongly client-focused, able to take ownership of projects/issues and resolve
14. A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
15. Must have a current, full driving licence
16. Must be able to achieve Merseyside police security clearance
