A specialist, UK based Transport and Civil Engineering Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join an established team of specialists based in Guildford.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Microdrainage or Flow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside within commutable distance of the Guildford Office.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to support the existing team and complete Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities.
Applicants will also be required to complete the following;
:Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.
:Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.
:Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage for residential and commercial projects for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities.
:Drainage Area Planning.
:Transport Statements.
:Managing Projects, mentoring team members and checking technical work.
