Job Summary You will be responsible for proactively and reactively pricing and purchasing a wide range of IT equipment – with a focus on developing supplier relationships with an understanding of different supplier requirements. You will also be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities thereby helping the company achieve turnover and profit targets. Responsibilities Generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and industry events Utilise marketing materials and campaigns to attract potential clients Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients Understand client needs and articulate how Techbuyer can meet those needs Price parts according to supply and demand Negotiate with existing and new suppliers Maintaining and improving existing supplier relationships Preparing and sending Purchase Orders, monitoring and expediting them where necessary Resolving any issues with suppliers professionally and efficiently Communicating effectively with the other teams, particularly warehousing, accounts and sales As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above The job holder is expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System Required Skills or Training Self-motivation and the willingness to learn are imperative, as is a personable attitude towards others Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English (a second language advantageous) Experience in a business development /lead generation role High level IT literacy and a strong numerical base would be advantageous Values We Live By These are the principles we embrace that we hope you will share.
